The lack of clearly pronounced culture or the tolerance of many different co-existing sub-cultures are important root causes of employees’ behaviours going in many different directions undermining the company’s effectiveness.
We cannot claim we can change a company’s culture overnight since it takes many years, maybe even decades, to build a strong homogeneous culture, but we are experienced in identifying the core issues, defining a workable roadmap and creating alignment and enthusiasm around the program.
We usually work together with the C-suite and middle managers to perform a first diagnostic of the actual situation with experience-based CSI tools. We also team up with HR to check how the culture is lived at the front line. After consolidation of the findings and a joint root cause analysis performed with the business, a culture change roadmap is crafted.
We help managers and the HR department to translate this roadmap in concrete measures that create and maintain sharp alignment and kick off the implementation.
